Senior Python Developer
Summary
Lead Python development for scalable, secure cloud-native applications on GCP, designing APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems while mentoring engineers.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for the development of applications and solutions using Python.
- Define scalable, resilient, and secure architectures in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Design and implement APIs, microservices, and complex integrations.
- Develop event-driven solutions and distributed processing systems.
- Participate in defining development, security, and governance standards.
- Support the evolution of data and application architecture.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to less experienced engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields.
- Strong professional experience in Python development in corporate environments.
- Experience building REST APIs and microservice architectures.
- Experience with cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Advanced knowledge of Object-oriented programming, Design patterns, Clean Code, Software architecture, Automated testing.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
