Senior Python Developer London

Salary: £80,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for experienced Python developers with strong problem-solving skills.
• We want candidates with experience in financial services or banking applications.
• Exposure to Regulatory Technology, trading or front office systems is highly desirable.
• Experience or interest in security engineering is an advantage.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development is a plus.
• We are looking for people who are interested in how AI is changing software engineering.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you building the next generation of internal platforms for a major investment bank.
• You will help modernise how critical banking technology is built, tested and delivered.
• You will develop applications supporting Global Markets Technology, Regulatory Technology, Front Office platforms, and security and governance initiatives.
• You may contribute to AI-enabled proof of concepts.
• You will work on projects with a focus on high-performance applications and secure regulatory platforms.
