At Trueplay, we are seeking a Senior Python Developer to build and maintain backend systems that power over 20 iGaming brands across 18 markets. You will mentor junior developers, lead system design discussions, and shape how our products are built.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services using FastAPI/Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Own architectural decisions and ensure solutions can grow with the business.
- Mentor and coach junior developers on best practices and performance.
- Drive system design conversations and influence implementation decisions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong knowledge of modern Python web frameworks, relational databases, message queues, and container orchestration.
- Proven ability to make architectural decisions and communicate effectively with junior team members.
- Experience building production‑ready systems for high‑traffic applications.
