Network Solutions Factory is the first international center for mobile & fixed networks management and operations located in France.

Initially created to internalize the engineering and operation activities of Salt mobile and fixed network in Switzerland, Network Solutions Factory opened in Lyon in July 2015. CANDIDATE PROFILE

As Senior Software Engineer (H/F), you will design, develop and maintain the internal tools used for the technical management of our telecom networks, ensuring they are reliable, scalable and aligned with the needs of our internal customers.

Working closely with the Product Owner, the Delivery Manager and a team of around ten developers, you will contribute to several projects in parallel within an agile framework. Teamwork is at the core of how we deliver: code reviews, pair programming and shared technical decisions are part of everyday life.

As an experienced engineer, you will also act as a mentor for our junior developers, supporting their growth and helping raise engineering standards across the team.

You will be a key contributor to technical choices, with the autonomy and sense of ownership expected from a senior profile.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, and with Linux (Debian) production environments.
• Proven experience designing, building and integrating APIs with internal and third‑party systems.
• Experience working in agile teams (Product Owner, Delivery Manager), with the ability to manage several projects in parallel and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to mentor and coach junior developers.
• Autonomous and proactive,solution oriented, able to escape when required.
• Think out of the box and ability to challenge working method in place
• Confirmed knowledge and practical use of agentic coding tools in your daily development workflow.
• Fluent English (mandatory) and professional French.

APPRECIATED SKILLS

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with data technologies and orchestration tools (Trino, Apache Iceberg, Apache Airflow, Celery).
• Knowledge of visualization and monitoring tools (Grafana, Superset).
• Knowledge of QA practices, or proven experience in setting up automated testing.
• Proven experience in application security: secure design and coding practices.
• Knowledge of radio networks, telecom or OSS tools and network management concepts.
• Ability to use and test other frameworks or programming languages when relevant, for specific features or POC.
• Spanish (spoken and understood) is a plus.
