Senior Python Engineer
Salary: £60,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements:- Professional Python development experience
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and engineering principles
- Experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and distributed systems
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Strong testing experience, including PyTest, unit, integration, and automated testing
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is desirable
- Docker and Kubernetes experience is desirable
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queues is desirable
- Exposure to data engineering, machine learning, or AI platforms is desirable
- Experience leading technical projects or mentoring engineers is desirable
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and services
- Build robust APIs and microservices architectures
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineering teams
- Drive best practices in software engineering, code quality, and performance
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision-making
- Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and tooling
- Support cloud-native deployments and infrastructure automation
