Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Backend Focus)
My client in Oslo is building an AI-native workspace platform that replaces multiple business tools with a single, highly configurable system. Think flexible workflows, intelligent automation, document management and enterprise-grade architecture.
We're looking for a senior engineer who enjoys building production systems, owning features end to end, and solving real technical problems.
What you'll do
- Design and build backend services with Python and FastAPI
- Build React and TypeScript frontend features
- Design scalable APIs, background jobs and event-driven systems
- Optimise database performance across relational and graph data
- Build document generation and processing pipelines
- Integrate cloud services, identity providers and third-party APIs
- Work with AI engineers to ship production AI features
- Debug, monitor and improve production systems
- Help shape architecture, engineering standards and technical direction

What we're looking for
- 5+ years building production web applications
- Experience with FastAPI, Django, Flask or similar
- Strong React and TypeScript skills
- Good SQL knowledge with exposure to NoSQL or graph databases
- Comfortable debugging across the full stack
- Experience with CI/CD, Git and code reviews
- Product mindset with a focus on shipping quality software
