Senior Python Engineer
Job Description
As we continue to grow, we are currently looking forPython Engineers. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager. Product Analyst's/Managers to refine user stories and requirements and identify, prioritize, and execute tasks within the software development life cycle.
Develop and maintain Python applications
Design and deliver reliable, readable, and maintainable code
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Implement new features, perform code reviews, provide technical support, and resolve bugs
Contribute to system architecture design and create technical documentation
Actively participate in code reviews and help improve overall engineering standards
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, both verbally and in writing, regarding technical solutions and project progress
Our tech-stack is continually evolving but to give you a flavour of what we’re currently working with here are some of the tools we use; Languages: Python Tools: Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, cloud AWS, Grafana, Firebase
Methodologies: Agile, Scrum;we have 14 day sprints and SU are held online usingSlack
Requirements
- At least4-5 years of experience as Software Developer.
- Should have an experience with fintech processes and big plus knowledge of cards issuing/processing.
- Clean coding methodologies (SOLID, YAGNI).
- Fluency in SQL, Python, Unix/bash scripting.
- Ability to write easily understandable and maintainable code in multiple programming languages.
- Experience with SQL databases {PostgreSQL, MySQL}.
- Good understanding and working knowledge of Django.
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience in working in cross-functional teams is an advantage.
- Exellent communication skills.
