Senior Python & FastAPI Engineer at BairesDev
As a Senior Python & FastAPI Engineer, you will build and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs to support scalable digital solutions. You will translate complex functional specifications into robust, production-ready services, ensuring seamless integration across distributed applications and data platforms.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance APIs and backend services using FastAPI and modern Python.
- Build efficient data pipelines, automating data handling processes and optimizing database queries.
- Implement comprehensive automated testing and maintain high standards of code quality and coverage.
- Collaborate on the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications using cloud infrastructure and automated pipelines.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define architecture requirements and deliver clean, well-documented code.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Backend Development, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in API development and backend automation using FastAPI and Python.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data handling, testing, and code quality practices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
