Senior QA
NewBe an early applicantWe are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior QA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, with strong exposure to web, API, and mobile application testing. This role requires someone who can independently drive testing activities, build and maintain automation frameworks, identify quality risks, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
The candidate should demonstrate strong ownership, sound technical judgment, and problem-solving skills. We are also looking for someone who is interested in continuously exploring modern QA technologies and practices, including AI-assisted testing, to improve test coverage, efficiency, and overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Independently plan and execute functional, regression, integration, system, end-to-end, exploratory, and release testing.
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks using Playwright and/or Selenium.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using C#, and Python.
- Perform comprehensive API testing using Postman, Fiddler, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Perform web and mobile application testing across Android and iOS platforms.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries and verify data integrity across different application layers.
- Analyze test failures, investigate issues, identify root causes, and work closely with developers to resolve defects.
- Manage the complete defect lifecycle using Jira, MTM, Bugzilla, Visual Studio, or similar test and defect management tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous testing practices.
- Work with cloud environments such as Azure and/or AWS.
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of automation frameworks, testing processes, and QA standards.
- Explore and apply AI tools and AI-assisted testing techniques to improve test coverage, productivity, test maintenance, defect analysis, and automation.
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Support release validation and provide clear updates on test status, quality risks, defects, and overall test progress.
- Mentor and support junior QA engineers when required.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, automation coverage, and overall testing practices.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
- Strong experience working with Playwright and/or Selenium.
- Hands-on programming experience in C#, Python for test automation.
- Strong experience in API testing using Postman, Fiddler, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with test and defect management tools such as Jira, MTM, Bugzilla, QTP, Visual Studio, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.
- Experience working with Azure and/or AWS environments.
- Practical understanding or experience using AI tools and AI-assisted software testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently plan, manage, and drive testing activities.
