Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer who can own the end-to-end testing strategy across web applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable designing automation frameworks, executing manual testing where required, collaborating closely with developers and product teams, and ensuring high-quality releases in an Agile environment.

Requirements

Must-Have Technical Skills
  • Automation testing using Cypress (preferred)
  • Strong hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing
  • Strong experience in Manual Testing
  • API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Experience validating REST APIs
  • Strong understanding of test case design and test planning
  • Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and End-to-End testing
  • Bug tracking using Jira
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Basic SQL/database validation
  • Git version control
  • Cross-browser testing
  • Excellent debugging and root cause analysis skills
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript-based automation
  • CI/CD pipeline integration (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar)
  • Performance and security testing exposure
  • Experience reviewing requirements and identifying test scenarios early
  • Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites.
  • Perform manual testing for new features where automation is not yet available.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to clarify requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
  • Improve automation coverage and reduce regression effort.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Support release validation across development, pre-production, and production environments.
  • Continuously improve QA processes and testing standards.

Domain Experience
  • SaaS product experience preferred.
  • Experience working on enterprise web applications.
  • Retail, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or Logistics domain experience is an advantage.
