Summary
The Senior QA Automation Engineer will develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications using Playwright. The role emphasizes integrating AI-powered tools to enhance test creation, debugging, and maintenance processes.
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a team working on modern web applications and help further develop and improve automated testing processes.
This role is focused on test automation with Playwright, but also requires a strong interest in and practical experience with AI-powered tools to improve the way testing and automation are designed, developed and maintained.

What we’re looking for
- Strong commercial experience in QA / Test Automation
- Solid hands-on experience with Playwright
- Strong programming skills in at least one relevant language, such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Java or Python
- Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks
- Good understanding of end-to-end testing and modern QA practices
- Experience working with CI/CD and automated testing pipelines
- Ability to analyse complex issues and troubleshoot test failures independently
- Experience working with AI tools in software development or testing
- Practical understanding of how AI can be used to improve test creation, maintenance, debugging or other QA activities
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a technical team
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to continuously improve existing solutions

- Experience with API test automation
- Experience with cloud-based environments
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD tooling
- Knowledge of performance or integration testing
