Senior QA Automation Engineer (Python & AI)

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to drive quality strategy and automation for complex capital market applications, with Python and AI-enabled testing as core areas of expertise.

This role goes beyond test implementation: the Senior QA Automation Engineer defines automation practices, drives the adoption of AI in testing, contributes to test architecture, mentors engineers, and ensures quality scales with complex backend, API, and AI-powered systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive the QA automation strategy for complex capital market applications
• Design and evolve scalable test automation frameworks using Python
• Define automation patterns, best practices, and quality gates
• Drive the adoption of AI in test automation, including AI-assisted test generation, test analysis, and intelligent test execution
• Design and implement testing strategies for AI/ML and agent-based systems
• Develop API, integration, backend, and end-to-end automated tests
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and improve test execution reliability
• Partner with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Architecture teams on testability and release readiness
• Identify quality risks, analyze complex failures, and drive root-cause analysis
• Conduct code reviews, reduce flaky tests, and improve automation coverage
• Mentor QA engineers and promote automation and AI testing best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Test Automation, including senior-level experience
• Advanced proficiency in Python and hands-on experience building automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted test automation and testing AI/ML or agent-based systems
• Strong understanding of AI/ML architectures, agent orchestration, and reasoning patterns
• Strong experience with API, integration, backend, and end-to-end testing
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with test architecture and scalable automation solutions
• Strong communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills; English B2+
• Background in capital markets or other complex financial platforms
• Experience with modern AI-powered QA and testing tools
