PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH) is seeking a Senior QA Automation for Banking Industry to join our team on a contract basis. Key responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain comprehensive automated testing frameworks and test suites for banking applications and systems
Lead the creation and execution of automated test scripts across multiple banking platforms, ensuring thorough coverage of critical business functions
Collaborate with development teams, business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify testing gaps
Identify, document and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and verification
Implement and optimise test automation strategies to improve efficiency, reduce manual testing efforts and accelerate time-to-market
Conduct performance and security testing specific to banking applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing technical guidance and best practice recommendations
Ensure adherence to quality standards, testing protocols and compliance requirements specific to the banking and financial services sector
Participate in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, integrating automated tests into the development pipeline
Review test results, analyse trends and provide recommendations for process improvements and quality enhancements
What we're looking for
8+ years of professional experience in quality assurance and test automation, with at least 3+ years in a senior or leadership capacity
Proven expertise in designing and implementing robust automated testing frameworks using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar technologies
Strong experience in banking or financial services domain, with a solid understanding of banking systems, payment gateways, compliance requirements and security protocols
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C# or JavaScript for test automation script development
Demonstrated expertise in API testing, database testing and performance testing within banking environments
Solid understanding of SQL and ability to write complex queries for database validation and testing
Experience with CI/CD tools and platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar, and integration of automated tests into deployment pipelines
Knowledge of banking compliance standards including PCI DSS, SOX and other regulatory requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members
Preferred: Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, JIRA or Azure Test Plans
Preferred: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies in fast-paced development environments
Preferred: Knowledge of mobile banking applications and their unique testing challenges
