Senior QA Consultant

1. Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and design specifications.
   
2. Execute test cases manually and thoroughly to identify defects and ensure software quality.
   
3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand project requirements and ensure effective test coverage.
   
4. Document and track defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
   
5. Participate in regular team meetings to discuss testing progress, issues, and potential improvements.
   
6. Mentor and provide guidance to junior testers, sharing best practices and techniques for manual testing.
   
7. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
   
8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in manual testing and quality assurance.
   

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
   
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in manual software testing, preferably in a senior or lead role.
   
3. Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
   
4. Experience in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
   
5. Proficiency in using test management tools and bug tracking systems.
   
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
   
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
   
8. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
   
9. ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
