Summary:
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining and elevating the quality standards of our software products. Your expertise will drive the creation and execution of robust testing strategies, ensuring reliability, performance, and seamless user experiences across all platforms. You will collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams within an agile environment, contributing to continuous improvement through proactive defect identification, process optimization, and mentorship. Your leadership and technical proficiency will help shape testing practices, integrate automation into CI/CD workflows, and foster a culture of quality excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases, including unit, integration, and UI tests
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data to support consistent and repeatable testing processes
  • Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems, and partner with development teams to ensure timely resolution
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, consistency, and alignment with business requirements
  • Stay current with industry advancements in testing tools, methodologies, and automation technologies, and apply insights to enhance testing efficiency
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting best practices and professional growth
  • Analyze testing metrics and outcomes to deliver actionable insights that drive product quality improvements

Requirements

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in software testing with a strong foundation in automation testing
  • In-depth knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC), testing methodologies, and Agile/Scrum principles
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#
  • Experience with test automation frameworks including Selenium, Appium, or TestNG
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is highly advantageous
  • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and tools is a plus
