Senior QA Engineer (Insurance, 50-60K)
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per month
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for medium to large-scale projects, ensuring thorough testing coverage and alignment with business requirements.
Apply a strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies to plan, execute, and adapt QA strategies effectively.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and project teams in a regulated environment to ensure seamless communication and compliance.
Leverage insurance industry experience to design and execute relevant test scenarios tailored to insurance products, workflows, and regulatory standards.
Provide guidance, leadership, and mentorship to junior QA team members, fostering skill development and team growth.
Oversee the testing lifecycle, identify and track defects, manage risks, and ensure high standards of software quality are delivered.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
6+ years of software QA testing experience.
Extensive experience in planning, coordinating, and managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for medium to large-scale projects.
Strong working knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project delivery frameworks.
Prior experience in the insurance sector is highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and guide junior QA team members.
Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Immediate or short-notice availability is highly preferred.
