Senior QA Engineer, Report Center
Summary
Owns end-to-end quality for HR/payroll reporting dashboards and analytics tools, ensuring data accuracy across sources and ETL pipelines by collaborating with data engineers and developers.
PrismHR is the HR, payroll, and benefits platform behind employer-services organizations across the US, backed by Vensure Employer Solutions. Our Report Center team builds the reporting and analytics tools our clients rely on to run their business — which means your job isn't just "does the page load," it's "is this number correct."
You'll own quality for our reporting dashboards, data pipelines, and analytics tools end to end: designing test strategy, validating data accuracy across sources and ETL processes, and catching the kind of subtle data issue that a functional test would sail right past. You'll work closely with data engineers, product managers, and software developers to define what "correct" means before a feature ships, not after a client flags it.
You will need:
- 6+ years in QA, with real focus on reporting or analytics systems
- Hands-on testing of data warehouses (Snowflake or equivalent)
- Strong SQL — you write and run your own queries against relational databases
- Experience validating data accuracy across multiple sources, ETL pipelines, and visualization tools
- Comfort with functional, regression, performance, and integration testing
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Nice to have: Agile/Scrum experience, data modeling exposure, performance testing at scale, payroll or HRIS domain knowledge.
The schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time, split shift — four hours from our office, four hours from home. No commute for half your day, and your evenings are genuinely yours.
Why this role: two open seats on a team doing work that's genuinely visible — when reporting is wrong, everyone notices, and when it's right, you're the reason. Real path to QA lead as the team grows.
