Senior QA Engineer

This is a short-term role (3-6 months).

40h/week are expected for the first three months and 20h/week for the second quarter.

Develop and execute detailed test plans covering OWASP TOP 10 and other use cases
Automate test cases to run as part of the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions
Perform manual testing where automation is not feasible, ensuring comprehensive coverage
Conduct performance testing of the backend REST API
Estimate the effort required for testing tasks and manage testing schedules
Track and report defects, ensuring a quick turnaround for fixes
Utilize tools like BrowserStack for testing responsiveness across different devices
Collaborate with developers to ensure robust and maintainable test code
Mentor and guide developers on implementing tests where needed

5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools for mobile and web applications
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions
Familiarity with BrowserStack or similar platforms for cross-device testing
Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and application security testing
Strong understanding of REST APIs and performance testing tools
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
