Senior QA Engineer Web3

You will lead manual, exploratory, functional, regression, load, stress, and performance testing for Web3 and platform features. You will validate blockchain interactions, wallet flows, smart contracts, APIs, transaction signing, multi-chain compatibility, and on-chain and off-chain synchronization. You will document test cases, track defects, monitor production systems, manage test environments, support CI/CD coverage, evaluate AI-powered testing tools, and mentor junior QA engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead manual testing across multiple environments
• Validate blockchain interactions and wallet flows
• Test smart contract interactions event handling and data synchronization
• Perform exploratory functional regression load stress and performance testing
• Identify and track reproducible defects
• Validate node responses RPC interactions transaction signing and wallet authentication
• Test multi-chain compatibility
• Collaborate on smart contract upgrades migrations and versioning
• Monitor production logs blockchain explorers and analytics dashboards
• Create and maintain test cases checklists and QA documentation
• Support CI/CD test coverage for Web3 components
• Evaluate AI-powered testing tools
• Manage test environments staging pipelines and job configurations
• Advocate for quality during sprint planning reviews and releases
• Mentor junior QA engineers

Requirements

• At least 7 years of total QA experience
• At least 2 years of hands-on Web3 testing experience
• Strong understanding of manual testing and defect life cycle
• Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals including transactions gas confirmations and RPC endpoints
• Experience validating APIs with Postman or similar tools
• Proficiency with Jira and Git
• Comfort with browser developer tools and command-line workflows
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools
