Senior QA
About the Role: An experienced, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Senior Software Tester with hands-on experience in Manual, Automation, and AI-assisted Software Testing. The ideal candidate will take complete ownership of software quality throughout the entire product lifecycle—from requirement analysis and test planning to production deployment and post-release validation. Required to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure every release is stable, reliable, secure, and delivers an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
● Perform end-to-end Manual Testing for Web, Mobile, and API applications.
● Design, prepare, review, and execute comprehensive Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Checklists, and Test Scripts.
● Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, System, End-to-End (E2E), Cross-Browser, Cross-Platform, Exploratory, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and API Testing.
● Maintain high-quality QA documentation, defect reports, test execution reports, release reports, and quality metrics.
● Maintain test environments and test data required for effective testing.
● Develop, maintain, and execute Automation Test Scripts to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and product quality.
● Continuously enhance automation coverage and optimize testing processes.
● Validate application functionality, business requirements, usability, and user experience.
● Perform database validation and data verification whenever required.
● Identify, document, prioritize, track, verify, and retest software defects until successful closure.
● Perform impact analysis and validate bug fixes before production releases.
● Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and test estimation activities.
● Estimate testing effort and provide realistic testing timelines.
● Ensure complete traceability between requirements, test cases, and reported defects.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
● Strong hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
● Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and Bug Life Cycle.
● Strong knowledge of Web, Mobile, and API Testing.
● Experience in Playwright with Python/Javascript/Typescript
● Good understanding of automation testing concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
● Strong understanding of software quality assurance principles, quality standards, best practices, and release management.
● Ability to analyze business requirements and identify potential quality risks.
● Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
● Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, and documentation skills.
● Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
● Ability to independently manage complete QA activities, work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and consistently meet project deadlines.
● Basic understanding of performance, security, usability, accessibility, compatibility, and performance testing principles.
● Passion for continuous learning and adopting emerging QA technologies and best practices.
Good to Have (Optional):
● Leverage AI-assisted testing methodologies to improve productivity, test coverage, defect detection, and testing efficiency wherever applicable.
● Basic knowledge of database validation and SQL queries.
● Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD environments is an advantage.
● Exposure to cloud-based testing environments is an advantage.
