🔹 About the Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to own quality across an integration-heavy SaaS platform. You will work across UI/API automation, asynchronous testing, performance, security, manual testing, CI/CD, and AI-assisted testing.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain test strategies across API, E2E, contract, performance, security, and manual testing.
- Build and maintain Playwright automation using TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or Python.
- Perform API testing across REST, gRPC & GraphQL using Postman/Newman, REST Assured, or Playwright APIRequest.
- Test asynchronous/event-driven flows using RabbitMQ, SQS & Webhooks, including retries, ordering, idempotency, and DLQs.
- Execute JMeter load, stress, soak & spike testing and analyse performance metrics such as p95/p99 latency and throughput.
- Perform Security/VAPT testing using Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nmap, Nikto & SQLMap.
- Implement AI-assisted testing, including AI test generation, Playwright MCP, Copilot, self-healing locators & LLM testing.
- Drive exploratory, risk-based, regression & UAT testing.
- Work with WireMock, LocalStack & Testcontainers for service virtualization and test data.
- Implement CI/CD quality gates using Jenkins, Bitbucket, Pact & OpenAPI/AsyncAPI.
- Monitor test coverage, flaky tests, defects & quality metrics, and mentor QA team members.
🛠️ Required Skills
- Expert hands-on experience with Playwright for UI & API automation.
- Strong API testing experience with Postman/Newman, REST Assured or Playwright APIRequest.
- Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ/SQS, Webhooks & event-driven testing.
- Strong JMeter experience including correlation, parameterisation, distributed testing & result analysis.
- Hands-on Security/VAPT experience with Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nmap, Nikto & SQLMap.
- Experience with AI-assisted testing & automation.
- Strong manual testing & test design knowledge.
- Hands-on TypeScript/JavaScript with Java or Python.
- Experience with Jenkins, Bitbucket & Allure.
- Strong SQL & data validation skills.

- axe-core & WCAG 2.2 AA
- AWS, SQS, S3, LocalStack, Kibana & Zipkin
- k6 / Gatling / Toxiproxy

- Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced, CEH, eJPT or OSCP
