Senior QS / Assistant Contract Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SeniorQS / Assistant Contract Manager to join our team. This is a strategicposition that plays a key role in the financial and contractual management ofour projects. You will be responsible for overseeing project tender, quantitysurveying operations, ensuring cost control, contract administration, and valuemanagement across multiple projects. This role offers significantresponsibility and the opportunity to influence project outcomes at a managementlevel within our organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead the Quantity Surveyor teamin the project, monitoring, reporting, planning and coordinating all aspects oftheir work.
• Manage the financial and contractual ofall projects from pre-tender to post-tender including quantities, variations,measurement, tender costing, cost estimates, monthly claims, final accountsetc.
• Manage and ensure contractual complianceand conformance.
• Manage full spectrum of Tender process andreview contract documents.
• Initiate and draft officialcorrespondences to stakeholders.
• Regular reporting of project accountstatus, including costing, outstanding payment & etc
• Liaise with Quantity Surveyors andsub-contractors on issues relating to progress payments, variations, claims andextension of time.
• Attend site visits, negotiations andproject site meetings on ongoing projects.
• Taking off of quantities for projects.
• To prepare & submit progress claim toclients and update progress claim report monthly
• To handle other assigned duties asrequired

What we're looking for

• Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying orequivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience isrequired with at least 3 years in similar positions.
• Proficient in Standard Forms of Contract(PSSCOC/SIA/REDAS)
• Knowledge in contract law, SOP Act anddispute resolution.
• Proven expertise in contractadministration, cost management, and financial control on medium to large-scaleconstruction projects
• Advanced proficiency in cost estimation,budgeting, and financial analysis
• Excellent negotiation and communicationskills
• Experience in the Singapore constructionmarket and familiarity with Decoration Project is advantageous
• Fluent in Chinese and English.
