FinXL is seeking a Senior Quality Analyst to join our consulting team and be deployed on a 6+ months contract with a leading Finance client with offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart.
This role focuses on driving quality across critical wealth management applications through end-to-end testing execution and strategic automation. You will serve as a key quality advocate, ensuring software user-friendliness, streamlining testing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize product delivery. Advice Technology, manual testing and e2e testing.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute end-to-end user acceptance and production testing, compiling detailed summary reports.
- Identify and implement test automation solutions to enhance efficiency and software delivery quality.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, defect workarounds, and functional gap analyses.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design innovative strategies that streamline advice delivery.
- Analyze and prioritize incoming product feedback and backlog items based on risk and capacity.
- Recommend and drive product enhancements that closely align with core business objectives.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong background in manual software testing methodologies and execution practices.
- Hands-on expertise using Jira, Confluence, and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Deep functional understanding of financial advice processes and technology platforms.
- Proven capability to drive outcomes independently or collaborate within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across technical and business stakeholders.
- Desirable experience utilizing automated testing tools such as Playwright and QTest.
Engagement Details
- 6+ months contract with a Finance client.
- Hybrid working model with 2 days/week in the office in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth or Hobart.
