Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Te tūranga – The role

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to monitor the performance of our supply chain, our banknotes and coins, and NZ’s cash distribution system. As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, you will further the development of robust quality assurance standards, frameworks and processes.

In this role you will be working to ensure the quality and authenticity of cash in circulation meets requirements, new banknotes and coin designs meet the needs of New Zealanders, and all cash produced meets our specifications.

Ō pūkenga – About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualified in relevant scientific/engineering discipline,

  • A thorough understanding of quality assurance processes, preferably applied to a relevant manufacturing environment,

  • Demonstrable experience in leading scientifically valid investigations and presenting data outputs to decision makers,

  • An ability to influence and obtain support from key stakeholders to arrive at a desired outcome,

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technically specialised subject matter, especially to a non-expert audience,

  • An innovative and problem-solving approach in a technical or manufacturing environment,

  • Solid all-round capability to independently manage a diverse program of work,

  • Proven data interpretation/data analytics skills,

  • Experience overseeing or actively contributing to a quality assurance programme in a regulated environment.

The anticipated appointment range for this role is $109,466 to $127,710 (actual salary will be dependent on your skills and experience).
