Summary

RedCore seeks a Senior QA Engineer to design and execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests across its fintech, e-commerce, marketing, and betting products. Day to day involves test design and documentation, REST/gRPC API testing, bug tracking, and building/maintaining Python (pytest + playwright) UI/API test automation.

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience as a QA engineer (backend, frontend, API);

  • Strong design and debugging skills;
  • Experience of creation simple AT using Python;
  • Understanding of client-server architecture, HTTP, HTML+CSS, Web APIs;
  • Experience in testing REST APIs;
  • Basic understanding of gRPC, ProtoBuf, and gRPC API testing principles;
  • Basic understanding of Git and common Git workflows (branching, merge requests, resolving conflicts);
  • Basic understanding of the Betting domain;
  • Teamwork and collaboration focus;
  • Expert in Test Design;
  • Team player, Independent, and self-learner;
  • English: intermediate or upper intermediate.

Will be plus:

  • Experience with Xray;
  • Experience with Git and GitLab CI/CD;
  • Experience in testing gRPC Web APIs;
  • Basic understanding of WebSocket protocol and real-time communication principles;
  • Hands-on experience with test automation in Python (pytest + playwright);
  • Experience with Grafana;
  • Experience with Betting.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and executing test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria;
  • Performing functional, regression, exploratory testing to identify bugs or inconsistencies;
  • Writing and maintaining test documentation, such as test plans, test cases, and bug reports;
  • Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that requirements are fully tested;
  • Analyzing requirements for the features, asking questions, and clarifying details about future functionality;
  • Automation contribution and maintaining existing automated tests in Python for UI/API;
  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure timely fixes and re-testing of defects;
  • Analyzing and tracking defects, verifying fixes, and ensuring they are resolved appropriately;
  • Participating in test case reviews and improving test documentation based on feedback.
