Senior Quality Assurance Executive (Senior (QA)

Salary: RM 6,000 – RM 8,500 per month

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Executive (Senior QA) to join our growing team at MyAtlas Digital. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital products and services. As a QA professional, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive testing strategies, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver robust solutions. Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications across various platforms

• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to identify bugs and quality issues

• Document and report defects using appropriate tracking tools, ensuring clear communication with development teams

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies

• Perform manual and automated testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks

• Validate fixes and conduct retesting to ensure defects are resolved and do not reoccur

• Participate in code reviews and provide quality assurance feedback during the development lifecycle

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to enhancing testing methodologies

• Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing technical support and knowledge sharing (for Senior level)

• Monitor and report on key quality metrics and testing progress

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of experience in quality assurance and software testing (Senior level)

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management processes

• Proficiency in manual testing and experience with automated testing tools and frameworks

• Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms

• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
