Leads the QA team to architect test strategies and automation frameworks for distributed systems, ensuring functional and non-functional correctness.
Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the functional correctness of our product and solutions
- Be responsible for the non-functional correctness of our product and solutions
- Architect and evaluate test frameworks and tools
- Architect the test strategy
- Design, implement and maintain full automation in SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) department
- Follow industry standard SDET practices
- Mentor and lead the team technically and managerially
- Identify training requirements and plan trainings for the team
- Follow Agile process
- On-time delivery
Person Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or BSc equivalent qualification with 8+ year(s) experience
- Sound knowledge in best SDET practices
- Well experienced in high performance distributed systems
- Well experienced in industry standard automation frameworks
- Experience in development of new automation frameworks to cater specific needs
- Experience in performance test planning, testing and associated tools
- Experience in Resiliency/Fault Tolerance test planning, testing and associated tools
- Analytical, problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills
- Understanding on Scrum and Agile practices
