Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer
Salary: ₱35,000 – ₱50,000 per month
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to own quality assurance across our client applications.
You’ll primarily work with development tickets after implementation is completed, validating that features meet requirements, identifying regressions and edge cases, and ensuring work is truly ready for client review or production.
Our projects include SaaS platforms, AI-powered applications, business automation systems, and third-party integrations. We use Claude Code extensively across our development workflow, so familiarity with AI-assisted development and testing is important.
Key responsibilities
Review and QA completed development tickets against requirements and acceptance criteria
Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing
Test applications built with technologies including React/Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and PostgreSQL
Validate APIs, webhooks, third-party integrations, background processes, and data flows
Test AI/LLM-powered features, including expected behavior, edge cases, output consistency, and failure scenarios
Build and maintain automated tests using tools such as Playwright, Vitest, Jest, or pytest
Use Claude Code and other AI-assisted tools to understand implementations, investigate issues, create test scenarios, and support automation
Identify edge cases beyond the basic ticket requirements and proactively flag potential production issues
Document bugs clearly with reproduction steps, expected vs. actual behavior, supporting evidence, and severity
Work closely with developers and PMs to verify fixes and determine when tickets are ready for release
About you
4+ years of professional QA/testing experience, preferably with modern web or SaaS applications
Strong experience with both manual and automated testing
Experience testing frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations
Strong experience with browser automation and API testing
Comfortable reading code and using developer tools, logs, databases, and API clients to investigate issues
Familiarity with Git/GitHub and CI/CD workflows
Experience using Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development/testing tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to independently identify scenarios developers may have missed
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Working Hours
This is a full-time remote position working Eastern Time (ET) hours.

A Senior QA Engineer should do more than confirm that a ticket works under ideal conditions.
We expect you to understand the purpose of the feature, challenge assumptions, identify edge cases, investigate failures independently, assess potential regression impact, and confidently determine whether a feature is actually ready for release.
You will serve as an important quality gate between development and client/production delivery.
