Impact

As a Senior Quality Assurance Software Engineer, you will play a key role in validating cloud-based shipping solutions and API-driven SaaS offerings. You will own test strategy and automation across functional, integration, regression, and API testing, while working closely with architects, product managers, UX experts, and software engineers. You will bring hands-on experience with tools such as ReadyAPI and Playwright, along with exposure to PI-based automation frameworks, to improve quality, reliability, and release confidence.

The Job

  • Define, design, and maintain automated test suites for API, UI, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Develop and execute test automation using ReadyAPI, Playwright, and PI-based automation frameworks.
  • Validate Shipping APIs, including shipment creation, rates, labels, tracking, carrier integrations, and related workflows.
  • Analyze functional and technical requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  • Maintain automated regression suites to support frequent releases and changing product requirements.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support quality gates for release readiness.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, review test results, communicate risks, and drive timely defect resolution.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation best practices, test design, and domain understanding.

Qualifications & Skills Required

The role requires a talented, self-directed, and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant field
  • 5+ years of overall Software QA experience, preferably in SaaS, cloud-based platforms, or API-driven products
  • Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and practices
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated test cases for web applications, APIs, and backend services
  • Strong experience with ReadyAPI for API testing and automation
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end automation
  • Experience working with PI-based automation frameworks or similar enterprise automation platforms
  • Good understanding of Shipping APIs, including rating, shipment creation, label generation, tracking, carrier services, and related workflows
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, request/response validation, error scenarios, contract testing, and test data management
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contributing to release quality gates

Additional Skills

  • Proficient understanding of Gitlab, CI/CD, DevOps practices
  • Knowledge in network architecture & server administration
  • Having the knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular 16+ and NodeJS is a plus.
  • Great attention to details and Organizational skills
