Senior Quality Assurance Tester, Insurance, 50k

A leading insurance company is looking for a QA to manage end-to-end testing, defect resolution, and project delivery in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and technical documents to ensure test coverage and quality standards are met.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for end-to-end system testing.
• Coordinate testing activities across projects, ensuring deliverables meet business and technical requirements.
• Manage defect tracking, issue resolution, test reporting, and quality metrics throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with business users, project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
• Provide testing governance, quality assurance consultation, and best practice recommendations across project teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes, quality management, and test automation adoption.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test management.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and DevOps environments.
• Hands-on experience in test planning, test execution, defect management, and testing governance.
• Familiar with testing tools such as Jira and Confluence, with experience tracking test progress and defects.
• Knowledge of test automation concepts and industry-standard QA practices; exposure to automation tools is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
