Senior Quality Control Engineer (Yishun)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Department: Production Department

Reports to: Quality Control Manager

Functional relationships:

- Production, production engineering & production control in same site

- Same with above in Japan, China, Philippines factory, HQ

POSITION PROFILE:

This position is to organize quality improvement activity, non-conformance control to stabilize the process and to improve product quality. Performing product analysis using particular equipment, handling customer complaint is also expected.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Policy, strategy alignment and coordination of PJT by collaborating with Japan HQ or other group company in Japan

• To initiate periodical meetings with Japan HQ or other group company to solve problems in own Division

• To develop, apply and maintain quality requirements and standards for development and manufacturing products

• To promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reports

• To monitor the product quality and process.

• To report to management on quality issues, trends and losses.

• To handle non-conformance products and make judgement affected product quality.

• To participate and lead in internal and external quality audits

• To conduct periodical information sharing meeting with Japan and oversea affiliates.

Ability/Competency required:

• Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in any engineering field.

• Minimum 3 year working experience in electronic components manufacturing quality control field.

• Proficiency in Japanese & English speaking & writing skills to support communication with Japan and other oversea affiliate

• Having logical thinking and being meticulous with good attention to details.

• Dedicated team player with strong job commitment.

• Having proactive attitude and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
