Senior Quality Engineer - Aerospace Industry (f/m/x)

Develops and executes test strategies, automates quality checks, and ensures software reliability for aerospace projects, using tools like test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in the aerospace sector. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring supplier quality and compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to address quality issues and implement improvement initiatives. This position offers a hybrid work model with opportunities to collaborate across various locations including Cracow, Katowice, and Rzeszow. Your tasks
Conducting supplier audits to ensure compliance with AS 9100 standards and specific requirements
Collaborating with customers and colleagues to communicate and enforce quality requirements to suppliers
Utilizing tools such as APQP, PPAP, and FAI to ensure seamless project launches with suppliers
Analyzing supplier performance data to identify trends and implement improvement initiatives
Partnering with sourcing teams to evaluate and develop supplier capabilities while maintaining accurate quality records
Traveling domestically and internationally to conduct audits and support supplier improvement activities
Participating in and managing upcoming projects as the responsible person from the SQE site
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing, preferably in the aerospace industry
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgy, or a related field)
Deep expertise in AS 9100 and NADCAP requirements
Strong command of FMEA and risk analysis methodologies
Practical experience in supplier collaboration and addressing quality issues
Ability to read technical drawings, tolerances, and specifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
Advanced level of Polish and English

Nice-to-have requirements
Expertise in Continuous Improvement methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
Knowledge and experience in special processes, both technically and in auditing
