What you will be doing\:
In this role, you will be joining an established, continuously evolving team at the forefront of Dreadnought & Astute submarine construction, covering all the Barrow site. You will be supporting NDT Leadership team assuring compliance and reporting of it. You will be managing your own tasks and delivering results, anticipating and escalating problem areas.
Core duties\:
- Tracking equipment and consumables. Ensuring we stay within 21 day look ahead maintenance/calibration before the due date
- Raising requisitions, following guidelines and procedures & tracking all details and orders from start to finish up to delivery dates
- Management of NDT Audits, ensuring everybody completes audits twice a year
- Weekly checks of qualification tracker
- Checking 6-week deadline towards ISO 9712 Qualification renewal documentation ensuring renewal courses in place
- Quality reporting of NDT performance data for the site

- Strong Excel Skills
- SAP Notifications
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Quality reporting skills
- Procurement experience would be advantageous
The Quality Team\:
This is a unique opportunity to become part of the Quality team in a complex shipbuilding environment, using a wide range of inspection techniques and equipment to support the Dreadnought & Astute build programme and ensure the delivery of world-class Submarine capability to the Royal Navy. You’ll join an established, continuously evolving team at the forefront of Dreadnought & Astute submarine construction covering all the Barrow site. In this role you will report to the NDT Quality Manager and sit within the leadership team and will carry out NDT assurance across site. Relocation support packages are available across Submarines roles, subject to eligibility criteria.
