Senior Quality Engineer (Hybrid)

JOB DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Support the New Product Development to review the products samples during the development stages to identify the possible worst customer usages condition and review the product performance under these usage conditions and work with suppliers and the Quality engineering manager to identify the inspection tests or methods to test their compliance with expecting performance during the development stages.

2.Support New Products Development team members to develop the reliability test plan of new products and their critical components need to be done by suppliers at the development stages and follow their product specifications to work with suppliers and the Quality Engineering manager to establish the quality plan of the required manufacturing processes control and quality inspections tests at samples.

3.Follow up & review suppliers’ progress with reliability tests of the samples assigned to be done by suppliers or at external testing laboratories in Taiwan/ China and review the test results of the test samples in-house/on-site as required. If the test failed, support the product development team to identify the root causes and corrective action plans to improve the products to meet the performance.

4.Support finding and coordinate 3rd party laboratories in Taiwan/China to do reliability tests during the development stages.

5.Coordinate the market complaint of shipped products quality and return defective goods, support technical support team, suppliers, and development team to analyze the defects and the root cause and to improve the quality performance in future and follow up actions are effective and documented.

6.Support the product development team and suppliers to develop the process quality validation methods during design verification and initial mass production builds as required.

7.To work with the development team to monitor the process for non-conforming material or product handling, and problem resolution, including corrective and preventative action plans, and ensure the improvement plan and follow-up actions are effective and documented.

8.Participate in other tasks assigned by the Quality Engineering manager.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Plan and develop product hardware test plans, criteria, and test cases from a
technical perspective based on the received specification.

2. Hardware product testing environment setup and maintenance

3. Review of Outsourcing / Supplier's /In-house test results and bug tracking.

4. Test process improvement and project-oriented.

5. Ability to present technical information and effectively communicate within all
levels of the organization around.

6. Fluent written and verbal communication skills; Proficient in English and
Chinese.

7. Strong ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships on a
multi-level basis.

8. Work independently and under pressure with a sense of urgency.
