Senior Quality Engineer

As a Senior Quality Engineer - SQA (Mechanical Commodity) primary roles & responsibility is involving IPEC’s supplier management system in terms of Quality, NPD, second party Audit, Monitoring supplier performance with respect to ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949;2016 & Automotive & Non-Automotive CSR. I. Experience • Minimum 6 to 8 years’ experience in Supplier quality process. • Involve supplier initial assessment during the new supplier selection. • Evaluate the New supplier assessment report through SWOT analysis • Conduct Supplier NPD audit during new parts development • Conduct supplier PPAP documents review w.r.t AIAG PPAP 4th edition or CSR • Approve supplier PSW based on the PPAP document review and site assessment • Monitor supplier performance in serial production through releasing monthly performance score card • Review supplier score card monthly once with IPEC cross functional team • Support & Collect Corrective action(8D) from supplier when supplier score card not met • Monitor the effectiveness of each supplier corrective action(8D) • Prepare supplier audit yearly plan for each commodity – Mechanical. • Execute supplier’s Audit (System Audit, Process Audit, Product Audit) circulate Audit reports • Support & Close NCs from supplier Audit with in timeline (System Audit, Process Audit, Product Audit) • Promote continual improvements at supplier place through some DMAIC projects • Maintain & Retain Supplier management system documents II. Knowledge • Automotive business process approach knowledge • ISO, IATF, PPAP, MSA, SPC - Knowledge • AIAG CQI 17 Soldering process (reflow, wave) - Knowledge • SMT process knowledge (PCBA, PCB, IPC standards) • SMT part testing knowledge (ICT, FCT, AOI, EOL) • Problem solving (8D) - Knowledge. • Interpretation of 2D & 3D drawing & technical specification - knowledge III. Education • Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) – Electrical /Electronics / Equivalent IV. Skills • Part traceability system • MS office – Excel & PPT • 7 QC tools • Data Analyse – Qualitative & Quantitative • ISO & IATF Documentation Job Type: Full-time Location: Bangalore, Karnataka
