Senior Quality Engineer

About TPConnects

TPConnects is a leading travel technology company headquartered in Dubai with a rapidly growing engineering hub in Warsaw. We build software powering modern airline retailing. Every month, our platforms process millions of ticket purchases, connect airlines worldwide, and power digital retailing for airline providers. We’re a product company. We build, own and continuously improve our platform, giving engineering teams the opportunity to solve meaningful technical challenges at global scale.

Our team includes colleagues from dozens of nationalities, making English our everyday language.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with a full-stack mindset: someone who wants to grow in test automation while remaining comfortable with manual testing and test execution. You'll help ensure our platform delivers the reliability, quality and performance expected from software powering global travel, testing across both frontend and backend.

You'll work closely with Engineers, Product Managers and Architects throughout the entire development lifecycle, helping teams build quality into the product from the very beginning rather than validating it at the end. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving engineering processes, driving test automation, challenging assumptions and helping teams deliver reliable software with confidence.

Our engineering teams build cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, React, MySQL, DynamoDB and microservices, with quality engineering embedded into every stage of development. Our test automation is written in TypeScript (Node.js) with Playwright and Cucumber.js, and reported in Allure.

AI-enhanced quality engineering

We use Claude AI coding assistants as part of our everyday engineering workflow to improve productivity and reduce repetitive work. Our Quality Engineers use AI to generate and improve test scenarios, accelerate test automation, analyse defects, create documentation and support exploratory testing.

While AI helps us work more efficiently, quality is still driven by engineering judgement, critical thinking and attention to detail.

What we offer

• A product company solving engineering challenges in one of the world’s most complex industries — global travel technology.
• The opportunity to influence architecture, technical decisions and product evolution.
• A chance to help shape our growing engineering hub in Warsaw.
• AI-enhanced software development with Claude AI coding assistants integrated into our daily engineering workflow.
• Stable employment based on an employment contract with 50% tax-deductible costs (KUP 50%), resulting in higher net pay.
• Hybrid work model (3 days per week) from our modern office at Hrubieszowska 2 in Warsaw.
• Private medical care and Multisport card.
• An international engineering environment with colleagues across Warsaw and Dubai and multiple other locations.
• Plenty of opportunities to learn, grow and make a real impact on the products we build

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman.
• Experience with functional, regression and exploratory testing.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Playwright, or Jest.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript / Node.js.
• Performance testing experience.
• Experience working with cloud-based SaaS platforms.
• Travel technology experience.
• Curiosity about AI-assisted quality engineering.
