About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to help deliver reliable, high-quality software and data solutions through automation, performance, and functional testing. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to design effective test strategies, improve quality practices, and support the timely delivery of products in an Agile environment. This position works across both existing and emerging technology platforms and contributes to continuous improvement initiate

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test solutions for web, API, and integrated systems.

  • Create and implement test strategies, test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks that support quality goals.

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to identify risks, validate requirements, and improve product quality.

  • Support performance, load, and scalability testing efforts where applicable.

  • Participate in product design and requirements reviews to provide quality-focused feedback.

  • Investigate, document, and help drive resolution of software defects and quality issues.

  • Configure, maintain, and improve test environments, tools, and processes. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that increase testing efficiency and product reliability. Mentor team members, share knowledge, and support a culture of learning and quality.

  • Ensure testing activities align with project timelines, business needs, and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Quality Engineering.

  • Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar technologies.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

  • Experience with API testing and automation using tools such as Playwright, REST Assured, Postman, or comparable solutions.

  • Understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and Agile development practices.

  • Experience testing distributed, multi-tier, or enterprise applications.

  • Working knowledge of databases, SQL, and data validation techniques.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

  • Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, or equivalent tools.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
