Senior Quant Developer

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a small team of software engineers, fostering technical growth and engineering excellence.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Python.
• Own the complete software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to deployment and production support.
• Drive architectural decisions, code quality, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate closely with researchers, quantitative teams, and engineers to build reliable and scalable systems.
• Optimize application performance, concurrency, and system reliability.
• Contribute to the design of distributed systems and large-scale backend infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend software development experience, including 2+ years in a senior or technical leadership role.
• Strong expertise in Python and production-grade backend development.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, concurrency, operating systems, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex technical projects.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Rust, PyO3 or FFI.
• Exposure to low-latency or high-throughput systems.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, networking, SQL/NoSQL databases, and large-scale data processing.
