Senior Quantitative Developer

You will take ownership of critical real-time data pipelines, ensuring reliable, low-latency ingestion and delivery of market data. You will investigate data issues, improve infrastructure continuously, monitor pipeline health, collaborate on downstream data needs, and document systems clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain reliable, low-latency real-time data pipelines for market events
  • Investigate and resolve data gaps, delivery delays, and schema breaks
  • Continuously improve ingestion and delivery infrastructure
  • Monitor pipeline health, define alerts, and reduce operational overhead
  • Partner with analysts and engineers to improve downstream data quality and delivery
  • Document systems so other engineers can work in them easily

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building and operating production data pipelines
  • Proficiency in Python or a similar language for pipeline development, data transformation, and tooling
  • Experience with production stream processing systems such as Kafka, Flink, or Kinesis
  • Experience debugging data reliability issues including schema drift, late-arriving events, and ordering anomalies
  • Ability to own the full lifecycle of systems from design through maintenance in resource-constrained environments
  • Experience with AWS or GCP cloud data infrastructure, including storage, compute, and orchestration tooling
  • Experience in financial markets, crypto infrastructure, or latency-sensitive trading environments
  • Familiarity with blockchain event indexing or on-chain data ingestion
  • Experience with data contracts and schema registries across multiple producers and consumers
