Senior Quantity Surveyor
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare tenders, quotations, and progress claims to support procurement and billing processes
- Conduct measurement take-offs, manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and ensure accurate project costing
- Source and evaluate suppliers/subcontractors, negotiate quotations, and select reliable partners
- Advise project teams on cost implications of variations to maintain budget control
- Handle interim payments, claims, and maintain proper project documentation for compliance
- Administer tender processes and provide support for ongoing project execution
- Lead and mentor junior QS staff, ensuring quality standards and adherence to company policies
Preferred Competencies & Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related field
- Knowledge of steel structure construction methods and materials
- Strong analytical skills for cost evaluation and decision-making
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with teams and suppliers
- Team-oriented mindset to achieve project goals
