* leads the financial and contractual management of construction projects

* oversee budgets, manage tendering processes, negotiate with subcontractors, and handle complex variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts.

* Pre-Contract Duties: Prepare cost estimates, take-off quantities, draft Bill of Quantities (BQ), and manage the tender process including evaluating and negotiating subcontractor/supplier quotations.

* Post-Contract Duties: Administer contracts, process interim progress claims, value variation orders, and settle final accounts.

* Cost Management: Track project expenses, provide cost analysis, and execute cost-reduction strategies while maintaining monthly budget projections.

* Contractual Advisory: Offer expert advice on contractual claims, monitor project milestones, and ensure deliverables meet local building contract law standards

* Team Leadership: Mentor, allocate tasks to junior quantity surveyors, and facilitate communication between stakeholders like project managers, architects, and clients.

* Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Civil Engineering

* 7 or more years of relevant surveying experience

* High proficiency in standard measurement software (e.g., AutoCAD, and advanced Microsoft Excel)

* Strong familiarity with regional contract standards (e.g., PSSCOC, SIA) and measurement methods
