Senior R&D Engineer
Summary
Designs and optimizes high-voltage and RF power electronics for plasma lighting systems, including schematics, PCB layouts, and system architecture, while supporting production and troubleshooting.
Job Description:
· Design, develop, and optimize high-voltage and RF power electronics usedfor plasma ignition, sustainment, and modulation.
· Create detailed electrical schematics, PCB layouts, block diagrams, andsystem architecture for plasma lighting drivers and control circuits.
· Provide technical support to the plasma lighting Test & Maintenanceteam to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with process engineering and productionteams to improve productivity.
· Support QA in conducting failure analysis.
· Design and develop NPI (New Product Introduction) products for globalcustomers.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.An advanced degree is an advantage.
· At least 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering,with a strong focus on power electronics, RF systems, or high-voltage design.
· Direct experience with plasma lighting, gas discharge systems, RF-drivenlamps, or related plasma technologies is preferred.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for plasma arc lightingdevices.
· Experience in power electronics and control circuit design.
· Knowledge of EMI/EMC considerations in lighting systems.
· Willingness to travel regularly (e.g., weekly) to Batam to overseeproduction activities and support NPI projects.
