Job Description

  • Perform MRI scans following protocols to produce diagnostic-quality images.
    Position patients correctly and select appropriate imaging settings.
  • Screen patients for MRI safety and explain procedures.
    Monitor and ensure patient comfort during scans.
  • Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and infection control protocols.
    Report equipment issues and perform routine checks.
  • Work with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure imaging meets clinical needs.
    Maintain accurate scan records and manage image transfers.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
  • Registered with AHPC
  • Certification or experience in MRI preferred
  • Good communication and patient care skills
  • Familiarity with MRI safety protocols and equipment handling
