Senior React Developer

Overview

At Sii Group Colombia, we’re looking for a Lead React Fullstack Developer to join one of our most strategic international projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in leading front-end architecture efforts while also being capable of integrating with modern backend services. You’ll be the technical front-end reference for the team and contribute to building scalable, high-performance applications using React and Java in a microservices environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UI development effort and define the front-end architecture
• Design and develop scalable components using React
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate Java-based microservices
• Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability across the stack
• Build and consume APIs efficiently, ensuring data consistency
• Guide and mentor junior developers, ensuring technical alignment
• Work closely with DevOps to ensure seamless deployment and automation
• Drive best practices in coding, testing, and system design

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in React and modern frontend architecture (70% focus)
• Solid experience with Java for backend development (30% focus)
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Proven experience leading small teams (up to 6 people)
• Upper-intermediate to advanced English (B2–C1 level)
