Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Senior React.js Developer / Front-End Lead with strong expertise in modern front-end technologies, UI architecture, and scalable web application development. The ideal candidate will lead front-end design and development, establish coding standards, drive technical decisions, and communicate solutions effectively to business and technical stakeholders.
The candidate must be comfortable working in a hybrid model, with at least three days per week onsite in Whippany, New Jersey.
Job Description:
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Core Languages: Strong proficiency in React.js, its core principles, lifecycle methods, and modern React Hooks. Deep expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
- React Ecosystem: Strong command of functional components, React Hooks, lifecycle patterns, and meta-frameworks like Next.js.
- Language Mastery: Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), DOM manipulation, and the JavaScript object model.
- Styling Tools: Experience with modern CSS workflows, including CSS Modules, Styled Components, Tailwind CSS, or preprocessors like Sass/Less.
- Build & Tooling: Familiarity with modern bundlers and build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, and npm/Yarn.
- Build Ecosystem: Familiarity with front-end build tools and pipelines such as Vite, Webpack, Babel, and package managers like npm or Yarn.
- Version Control: Professional experience with Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
- Security & Auth: Basic understanding of front-end security practices and authentication standards (e.g., JSON Web Tokens)
