Senior React Native Developer

About Us: We're a custom mobile software development company building tailored, high-quality mobile applications for clients across industries. We take products from concept to store, and we care deeply about clean architecture, performance, and long-term maintainability. We're looking for a senior engineer to take ownership of our React Native work as a key member of our mobile team.

About the Role: We're seeking a Senior React Native Developer with deep, hands-on expertise to lead the development of cross-platform mobile applications. This is a senior position — you'll own features end to end, make architectural decisions and act as a technical point of reference across projects. You should be comfortable working directly with clients and translating requirements into robust, production-ready apps.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain performant cross-platform mobile apps using React Native
  
• Own architecture decisions and set best practices for the mobile codebase
  
• Integrate with REST/GraphQL APIs, third-party SDKs, and native modules
  
• Write and bridge native code (Swift/Objective-C, Kotlin/Java) when required
  
• Optimize app performance, memory usage, and startup time
  
• Manage the full release cycle — build, test, and deploy to the App Store and Google Play
  
• Review code, mentor mid- and junior-level developers, and uphold engineering standards
  
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and clients to deliver on requirements
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of professional mobile development experience, with substantial React Native experience
  
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
  
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or similar) into applications
  
• Strong understanding of React fundamentals — hooks, context, component lifecycle, and performance optimization
  
• Experience with state management (Redux / Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API)
  
• Solid experience with React Navigation
  
• Proficiency integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
  
• Experience writing native modules and bridging native code (iOS: Swift/Objective-C; Android: Kotlin/Java)
  
• Familiarity with native build tooling (Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle, CocoaPods)
  
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the App Store and Google Play
  
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, offline handling, and security best practices
  
• Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with Expo and the Expo ecosystem
  
• Familiarity with the New Architecture (Fabric, TurboModules) and Hermes
  
• Testing experience (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox)
  
• CI/CD for mobile (Fastlane, EAS, Bitrise, GitHub Actions)
  
• Push notifications, deep linking, and analytics integration (Firebase, etc.)
  
• Experience in a client-facing or agency/consulting environment
  
• Native mobile development background (fully native iOS or Android)
