Job Title: Red Hat OpenShift Administrator with IBM MAS Expertise

Experience: 8-12 Years

Role Overview

The Red Hat OpenShift Administrator will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing containerized environments for IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) on OpenShift. This role requires strong expertise in OpenShift cluster administration, MAS deployment, and integration with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

Cluster Management

• Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters on-premises or in the cloud.
• Manage cluster lifecycle, upgrades, patching, scaling, and performance tuning.

MAS Deployment & Support

• Deploy IBM MAS on OpenShift using Helm charts and operators.
• Configure MAS components (Manage, Monitor, Predict) and ensure high availability.

Security & Compliance

• Implement RBAC, network policies, and container security best practices.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenShift Console for health checks.
• Troubleshoot MAS pods, persistent volumes, and integration issues.

Automation & CI/CD

• Develop automation scripts for cluster operations and MAS deployments.
• Integrate with Jenkins/GitOps pipelines for continuous delivery.

Integration

• Support MAS integrations with ERP, IoT, and external systems.
• Manage API gateways and service mesh configurations.

Required Skills

Core Expertise

• Red Hat OpenShift Administration v4.x.
• IBM MAS deployment and configuration.

Technical Skills

• Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Operators.
• Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Networking concepts: Ingress and Load Balancers.
• Tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Ansible, and Jenkins.

Certifications

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
• IBM MAS or Maximo certifications preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with MAS SaaS migration and container security hardening.
• Familiarity with Watson AI integration and MAS Predict module.
