Senior Regional Accounting Manager, APAC

Position Summary
The Senior Regional Accounting Manager is responsible for leading accounting operations across the APAC region while ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, standardized accounting practices, and timely financial reporting.
This role partners closely with country finance teams, Shared Service Centers, Corporate Finance, Tax, Treasury, HR, and business leaders to strengthen financial governance, improve operational efficiency, and support regional business growth.
The position will drive accounting transformation initiatives, internal controls, process automation, and continuous improvement across multiple APAC entities. The role also leads Shared Service optimization, process simplification, and ERP transformation across APAC.

Key Responsibilities
Regional Financial Reporting

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close across APAC entities.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accounting integrity.
• Coordinate regional consolidation and reporting to Corporate Finance.

Accounting Governance

• Establish standardized accounting policies across APAC.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting guidelines and local statutory requirements.
• Drive consistency in accounting treatment among regional subsidiaries.
• Support external and internal audits.

• Ensure compliance with:
• Local accounting regulations
• Corporate accounting policies
• Tax regulations
• Internal control requirements
• SOX (if applicable)
• Manage statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors.

• Lead finance transformation initiatives.
• Standardize accounting workflows across APAC.
• Improve closing efficiency through automation and digital tools.
• Collaborate with IT on ERP optimization.
• Implement best practices in financial controls.

• Partner with:

• Strengthen regional internal control framework.
• Monitor compliance with financial policies.
• Identify accounting risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness.
