About Us

At Félix, we're building the financial ecosystem for Latin immigrants in the U.S., starting with a revolution in remittances. Our core product is an AI-powered chatbot built on WhatsApp, allowing our users to send money home as easily as sending a text message. We leverage cutting-edge technology like AI, blockchain, and stablecoins to make cross-border payments faster, more affordable, and more accessible than ever before.

We are a hyper-growth Series B company, backed by over $100 million in funding from top-tier global investors, including QED, Castle Island, Switch Ventures, HTwenty, Monashees, and General Catalyst Customer Value Fund. This isn't just about the numbers; it's a testament to the trust our investors have in our vision and our team. Additionally, Félix was selected as an “Endeavour Entrepreneur” and was a recipient of the CrossTech Fintech Startups Award. We are a group of extremely talented and dedicated high-performers, united by our shared obsession with a single goal: empowering our customers. We are all owners of Félix, driven by a bias for action and a true experimentation spirit to get shit done with urgency and focus.

Joining Félix means you will be part of a team building a legacy, a company that will outlive us all. This is a rare opportunity to apply your skills to a deeply meaningful mission—serving a community that has been underserved for too long. We are a team that is fiercely loyal to each other, where radical transparency and constructive feedback are how we grow and push for excellence. We are bold, we care less about what others are doing, and more about creating sustainable value and a product that truly makes our users' lives better. We are building the future, today.

About the Role

Félix is escalating its physical footprint across Latin America and the United States through a network of strategically located corporate hubs. We are seeking a highly autonomous, Senior Regional Office Manager to own our workplace network end-to-end.

This is a high-ownership, strategic-yet-tactical role for a seasoned corporate real estate and facilities leader who can step in, exercise sharp judgment, and operate with complete independence. You will be responsible for designing and executing the strategy to set up and run a multi-country network of hubs—balancing greenfield site searches (0-to-1), end-to-end construction and renovation project management (fit-out supervision, contractor oversight, and timeline/punch-list delivery), with the operational optimization and day-to-day management of existing spaces.

This role is for someone who has 'seen it all'—from contract audits, landlord lease negotiations, and multi-country regulatory compliance to unexpected site emergencies, security protocols, and vendor friction. You will act as the 'conductor of the orchestra,' deciding how to build and scale our operations across our target markets in LATAM (Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil) and the US (Miami, New York, San Francisco).

What You’ll Own

1. Multi-Country Network Architecture, Buildout & Greenfield Launches

  • Strategic Expansion Playbook: Define and execute the roadmap for launching a network of corporate hubs simultaneously across LATAM and the US (e.g., launching in Buenos Aires and São Paulo while scaling current hubs).
  • Site Scouting & Real Estate Strategy: Lead site scouting, location criteria, and commercial space evaluations.
  • Lease & Commercial Terms Ownership: Lead lease agreement reviews and negotiations (3-to-5+ year commercial terms, exit clauses, warranty deposits, tenant improvement allowances).
  • Construction Project Management & Fit-Out Supervision: Lead and supervise the full architectural design, interior fit-outs, and renovation projects for new corporate hubs. Manage general civil contractors on-site, track construction timelines, enforce quality control and punch-lists, oversee MEP/electrical backups, IT/server infrastructure, furniture procurement, and access control systems for turnkey handoffs.

2. Operational Excellence, Governance & Compliance

  • Multi-Site Facilities & Vendor Management: Source, audit, and manage general contractors, janitorial services, HVAC technicians, security personnel, and workplace suppliers across all operating markets.
  • Contract Administration & Audit Readiness: Maintain a bulletproof repository of all active leases, SLAs, and supplier contracts, ensuring instant compliance readiness for corporate due diligence, internal audits, or financial reviews.
  • Regulatory & Security Governance: Ensure strict adherence to regional workplace regulations (Protección Civil, EHS standards, local municipal permits, emergency response brigades, and access control security protocols for financial technology operations).
  • Business Continuity Planning (BCP): Design and implement robust Business Continuity Plans to guarantee uninterrupted power, internet, and physical operational uptime across every hub.

3. Network Operating Models & Brand Standardization

  • Brand & Cultural Infiltration: Standardize the look, feel, and employee experience across all hubs so walking into a Félix office in Mexico City, Bogotá, or Miami feels distinctly and seamlessly "Félix," while remaining authentically rooted in local community context.
  • OPEX/CAPEX Budget Ownership: Own the regional workplace budget, driving strict cost discipline, negotiating savings, and managing vendor payments independently without requiring day-to-day executive handholding.

What Success Looks Like (The First 6 to 12 Months)

  • 0 to 3 Months (Stabilization, Project Management & Expansion):
    • Take immediate operational ownership of existing hubs (New York and current Miami site), establishing standardized SOPs and resolving facility/vendor bottlenecks.
    • Lead and execute the physical expansion project for the Miami hub.
    • Drive end-to-end project management (site fit-outs, contractor supervision, timelines, and punch-lists) for the construction of new hubs in Mexico City and Bogotá.
    • Define the multi-site operational framework and initial site selection criteria for Buenos Aires and São Paulo.

  • 3 to 6 Months (Multi-Site Execution & Launch):
    • Successfully manage construction completion, fit-out inspections, and full operational launches for the Buenos Aires and Brazil hubs, as well as delivering the new CDMX and Bogotá offices, while maintaining smooth daily operations across existing spaces.
    • Author and deploy a standardized Félix Network Launch Playbook covering multi-country site selection, construction/fit-out project management sequencing, regulatory compliance, legal contract guidelines, and vendor sourcing.

  • 6 to 12 Months (Network Scaling):
    • Leverage the playbook to plan and execute the next expansion wave (including San Francisco and secondary LATAM hubs).
    • Build the business case for —and potentially recruit— a small, highly efficient team or local partner network to support ongoing site maintenance, freeing this role to focus on strategic growth and network optimization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of senior workplace operations, corporate real estate, construction project management, or regional facilities leadership in multinational corporate environments or large-scale enterprise companies.
  • Construction & Fit-Out Oversight: Proven track record supervising construction contractors, architectural firms, MEP installations, and physical space buildouts from raw space to operational handoff.
  • Multi-Country LATAM & US Scope: Proven track record managing a network of physical corporate offices across LATAM and the United States.
  • Direct experience managing workplace operations/real estate in either the United States OR Brazil is required alongside LATAM experience.
  • Contract & Regulatory Mastery: Strong expertise reading and auditing commercial lease contracts, driving vendor RFPs, and implementing strict corporate governance/security protocols.
  • Senior Decision-Making & Autonomy: High degree of professional maturity and business acumen. Able to make independent financial, legal, and operational decisions without escalation to executive leadership.
  • Language Proficiency: Bilingual English / Spanish is strictly required for cross-border legal, landlord, and executive communication. Portuguese is a strong plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Corporate Real Estate, or related technical fields.
  • Travel Readiness: Highly comfortable traveling regularly and extensively (50%+ travel during launch/search/construction phases) across LATAM and US hub markets.
  • Location: Must be based in Mexico City (CDMX) and willing to travel internationally.
  • These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Initial stock options grant
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Health, dental, and vision plans
  • Remote work environment, although we have offices in Miami and México City and would love to work in hybrid model if you are up to it.
  • Continuous learning opportunities
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Paid parental leave
  • Empowering opportunities for growth in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
