Senior Relationship Manager
We are looking for an outstanding Senior Relationship Manager to join our commercial team in the Enterprise portfolio. The SRM will own and grow client relationships across onboarding, engagement, and long-term value creation for a small number of highly strategic accounts in APAC. Acting as a trusted Argus representative, the SRM connects clients with commercial and editorial teams, and serves as a valued advisor on Argus product capabilities to drive adoption, retention, and expansion of the Argus service/product portfolio within the Enterprise account book.
What will you be doing?
Protect and grow Argus revenue, ensure existing customers realise optimal value from their relationship while proactively prospecting for new relationships and opportunities within the account base.
Identify commercial growth opportunities, including competitor displacement and embedded price indexation opportunities.
Deliver high-quality client onboarding, demonstrations, and ongoing education that clearly articulate the value of Argus services and platforms.
Develop and execute structured account plans aligned to contract stage and client strategy.
Identify, evaluate, and execute business opportunities relating to new price assessments, services, and products.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including opportunity progression.
Help shape changes to the Argus product line and the launch of new offerings, in response to client and industry feedback.
Attend and coordinate marketing presence at conferences, industry events, and dedicated client events.
Build the Argus company profile within the strategic customer base.
What we are looking for in you
Bachelor’s degree required.
Commercial experience: the ideal candidate has worked at a commodity trading floor or had some prior commercial experience in commodities.
Successful track record in key account management with experience or knowledge of data/IP account management preferable.
Experience building effective interpersonal relationships internally and externally with key influencers and decision-makers.
International experience of working in various cultures globally.
Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high-quality and commercial benefit.
Well-presented, credible, and able to influence senior executives at large and small firms.
Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel locally and internationally, 25% of the time.
Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
